Starting your own Business

Starting your own business is not an easy decision to make. It involve huge amount of money, either by internal or external financing, labors, strategic location and creative ideas.
However, unlike before few years, nowadays people are thinking more about working for themselves by starting their own business.
Personally speaking I agree with this, because when you start you won business you are increasing your monthly income, you are working in something you like or something you are really good at.
Ofcourse you should have atleast the financial ability and could use some experts help.
Depending only on your salary may not last forever or might not satisfy enough for a long time!

Bachelor in What!

Bachelor in What!
Deciding to become a general business student in HD3 wasn’t an easy decision. However, I took because I wasn’t interested in the programs that the college was offering for the evening time and I wasn’t welling to quit my job and move to morning classes to the major that I want. However, what is left now is very little, and I am happy with what I decided but now the question is: which major shall I choose to study for bachelor! Should I go for finance which matches with my working experience in the bank! Or should I study HR which is more like my personality as I like dealing with people and their issues!

DWC Mosque

In the beginning of this semester, I heard lots of arguments and felt the anger from the students side because of the mosque or the prayer room that was converted to a seating area and coffee shop by the college. Not just that, students were complaining publicly and spoke to the media regarding this matter.
In this blog, I would like to take the opportunity to express my opinion regarding this issue.
In Islam, there is a say with a meaning of: mosques shouldn’t be ignored or left without anybody coming to it. I remember when I was a morning student, almost two years ago, I never went to that mosque and it was always empty when it shouldn’t. I didn’t see that student actually go there to pray. So why the college should keep it when even in islam that is not right!
Personally speaking I don’t mind that the college converted the prayer room, plus, it is actually transferred to the upper floor in the students’ center.

Blood Diamond

Blood diamond is a movie that I saw few years back. It is about the diamond industry and the pricey stones we might be wearing which originally was collected from the West African country of Sierra Leone and the killing and enslaving of men to work in the diamond fields.
The film has a pleasant, unanticipated ending, something hard to be explained in a film of this kind.
Our diamond will never look the same after watching this movie!

London is my favorite city in the world after Dubai. I love everything about his city, from its architectural style of building, streets, the culture, the day and night life to the fashion malls and lovely sights.
London is well known of:
· the Royal Parks of Hyde Park
· Kensington Gardens
· Knightsbridge
· the University of London is the largest contact teaching university in the United Kingdom and in Europe
· London Eye
· Victoria Albert Museum and other places which I really enjoyed visiting to

“PORSCHE” There is NO Substitute
When it comes to cars, I’m a big fan of it. The styling, shape, performance and options cause me to have huge crash on cars. However, my favorite car is Porsche Cayenne. I believe that it combines sport, luxury, style, practical and safety. Simply, to me, it is the best.

Proudly, I’m from the UAE

An interesting interview with Sheikh Mohd bin Rashid, gives me additional reasons to be from the UAE.
May god bless him and help him in his hard work in his leadership! A man who is one only from his kind!

CSR

CSR
Corporate social responsibility is a self regulation that associates with being an effective part of community. I believe it is all about paying back the community a little from what the community is giving you.
Earlier in this semester, a project was assigned to our class which is to do something for CSR. As one of our teachers told us, in UAE women’s prison they have a workshop for the prisoners and they make lots of products such as dolls, furniture’s, accessories and other stuff. We decided to go there and we were shocked by the quality of the goods they make and we decided to introduce they goods in the bazaar as part of CSR. It was really great!
However, that is one thing we made, there is still more to do. Watch this video and hopefully this will encourage you to think about: what did I do for CSR recently!

Blackberry Addiction

Blackberry Addiction
This video is about how the blackberry massively affected our life. I believe here in the UAE we have this kind of addiction too. It is really strange how users become hooked on them.
New addiction people, it is addiction to technology!
I found it really interesting and worth to share!
